Lickimat- Review

If you know me then you already know that I am a huge fan of a LickiMat. Luna is raw fed and for a long time we struggled to slow her eating down, that was until we found LickiMat. LickiMat is a rubber mat with raised grooves that you can use to smear your dogs favourite treat or food onto. LickiMat provides great enrichment for your dog, it can make a meal last longer, it can be a great boredom buster and it can help to encourage calm behaviours during a stressful event.

I was kindly given two of their new range to test out and I think they are genius. A must have for all dog owners. Currently we've got the flat square shape LickiMat.

LickiMat SPLASH

LickiMat Splash

LickiMat Splash has a suction on the back that allows the mat to be stuck to different surfaces such as glass, the bath and tiles. This is the perfect partner for grooming and bathing your dog, it can make a once stressful experience into a fun and positive one. Personally I love LickiMat Splash, Luna has never been a huge fan of shower time but since having the Splash, she happily jumps into the shower and lets me bath her. The downside for me is that the raised grooves are spaced too far apart which makes it easy for Luna to get the food off quickly. I will defiantly get a lot of use out of this product, I will use it for my husbandry training (nail clipping, brushing, medication giving).

LickiMat WOBBLE

LickiMat Wobble

This was a game changer for feeding Luna, it bowl shaped, what more could I ask for! Using the wobble to feed her meals in really does slow her down as I literally spread her raw food over every inch of the wobble. It doesn't take her as long to get the food off like other LickiMat products but it's still a nice change for meal times.

Tip- Always supervise your dog when using a product such as a LickiMat.
